So, let me guess . . . communication in your marriage is always smooth, easy, tension-free, positive, and usually ends with everyone feeling heard and understood.

Isn’t it great to be right? It makes you feel so smart! There have been several times when I was 100% sure I had listened and understood perfectly everything Lisa was thinking and feeling and that I had been crystal clear in my communication . . . only to discover I got the percentage a little wrong . . . like, 100% wrong! Not so smart.
