What is Your Marriage Saying to Everyone Who Knows You? Matt & Lisa Interviewed by Aaron & Jennifer Smith

If you ever make it to Bend, Oregon, be sure to take a stroll through Drake Park. Lisa and I will often stop by The Lemon Tree for lunch then take a walk around the park by the river, holding hands. Seems that every time we’re there, people smile approvingly at us. The fact is, we like each other! We like spending time together – doing “normal” life together.

When we take a moment to consider the interaction and responses of people, one truth is very clear – there is a message in our marriage and people are watching. The truth is, there is a message being spoken by every marriage – by your marriage – to kids, other family members, your church family, and everyone who doesn’t even know you but encounters you in the normal rhythms of life. Your relationship is speaking, loudly, to everyone who interacts with you.

Have you asked yourself: What is the message in my marriage?

Today’s podcast is from an interview that we did with Aaron and Jennifer Smith – They interviewed us on their podcast, Marriage After God. It was a great conversation and we wanted to share it with you, here. Join us as we explore the power our marriages have to speak to those around us . . . and, the responsibility for the message of our marriage.
