What Does It Mean to Be a Faithful Man?

What if the world were filled with faithful men . . . faithful to God, to their wives, and to their children?

Men like that are in short supply these days, even in places where everyone claims to love God. Even in Church, among “believers” it’s common to hear of men who have been unfaithful and of the destruction that follows.

It’s not a new problem. In the book of Proverbs 20:6, Solomon says, “Most men will proclaim (to) everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” Men who are faithful have always been in short supply.

For the man who seeks to be a biblical Christian, God’s expectations are clear. Do you know what it means to be a faithful man? Are you known to be a faithful man? What would your wife say? And, more importantly, what would God say? If you’ve been unfaithful at any level, in anything . . . how do you get back to the heart of the Father?
