Hi, I’m Lisa (Matt’s wife) of Club31Woman . . .

What could I tell you about enjoying a lasting marriage? A happy and a loving one . . . now that we’ve been married for 25 years?

We’ve laughed together, cried together, slept together, raised children together, and have walked together for over two decades. Two people who’ve been loving each other for a long time.

Women often ask me, they wonder how it’s done. What has worked and what has helped us through the hard times? How did we get from newlyweds to madly in love, 25 years later? What has brought us this far? And what will keep us loving each other in the years to come? Our books answer these questions.

Whether you’re newly married, have been together for decades, or still waiting to meet the one God has for you, 100 Ways to Love Your Wife & 100 Ways to Love Your Husband offer solid, practical steps on how you can enjoy a  loving marriage right now AND a lasting marriage that will go the distance.

I would love to begin these books! My husband and I have been married a little over a year and it’s most definitely hard!!! I feel that here lately we have fought and disagreed more than anything and there have been times that I am just ready to throw in the towel. I’m laying here tonight, really thinking about our marriage and I know that I love him but I just don’t know what else to do! We don’t have the money to purchase these just yet, as I am the only one working and we have 3 kids to take care of but this is something that I definitely want to try! Thank you so much

I am presently separated from my husband. In the early days of our marriage I felt my husband was a godly man, but he ended up being very abusive to me both physically and emosionally. I haven’t as yet purchased your books. Do you address these issues in these books? And did I do the right thing in separating myself from him.

Our books don’t address the abuse issue. And, yes, if you are (or any woman is) unsafe, you should absolutely and immediately protect yourself from harm. Emotional/verbal abuse is a challenging category as everyone has a different definition of what that means but physical abuse is black and white. If I were physically abusing Lisa, my wife, she would immediately get away and call the police – and she should!

Everyone of these sites is just trying to sell something…usually a book.

Yes, Vanessa, we are trying to sell our books. We’ve been blogging for about 6 years (collectively, Lisa and me) and for most of that time, we’ve written articles, responded to readers, and generally tried to serve the Club31Women.com/MatthewLJacobson.com community with biblical truth and practical wisdom. Unfortunately, life has costs associated with it – and especially when that life involves the time and expense of blogging. You might see that I recently took down the ads on my sight (a money-making venture) because of the many complaints I received about some of the content and how they cluttered up the sight. Book selling is a way to provide income so we can continue to do what we do. I’m not opposed to donations but, so far, no one has offered! Hope you understand.

Of course their trying to make money. Anyone who is breathing is trying to make a living. At least they are doing it by trying to help people. I just ordered mine today. With 5 children and careers and other issues were on the verge of divorce and I’m willing to try and do anything so is my husband. So, thank you for writing and blogging.

Thanks so much for that Crystal – really appreciate your words. And, re the books, they aren’t magic but, if you and your husband will receive the teaching and principles and apply them selflessly to your marriage, there will be a transformation. Check out these reviews from men and women – all 5 STAR reviews :

From a guy: WOW! Very easy read. It reads more like bullet points with short explanations. Even “Non-readers” could quickly and easily read and enjoy this book. As for it contents, it gave me so much to think about. It pointed out so many things that I do that I didn’t realize. Some good, some bad… It gave me some insight on why my wife reacts the way she does to my actions and words. My wife is reading the “100 Ways to Love Your Husband” and I can easily say that things around our house have been easier. Just read it buddy. You’ll be glad you did! And get your wife to read the Love Your Husband book. BIG benefits. 😉

From a Woman: A must read! this book made me go back to our love story, my husband read 100 Ways to Love your Wife, we discussed after we finished reading, and we both agreed that we need to stop, sit down and just remember old times, we laughed, we cried, we hugged and we promised to never let anything or anyone interfere on our love, we sealed that promise with a kiss, and I must say that I felt 16 again.

God bless you and your husband, Crystal.
